Sue Spray
Award Winning Woodworker  Artisan
How Sue became Interested in Woodworking
In the early 1970s, Sue was introduced to relief carving by
her 6th grade teacher.  Two years later, in junior high school,
woodworking was offered to girls and Sue jumped at the
chance.  There was only one other girl in the class. Sue
dabbled in woodworking through out her adult life, and
became seriously involved about 20 years ago.  Sue has always
enjoyed working with her hands and being creative.  A very
supportive husband, friend and partner has contributed greatly to
enhance and assist Sue with suggestions, constructive critiques,
assistance and contributions.  Sue and Theron, her husband of over
25 years, share a rare and unique relationship that is integral to the
unique qualities of Sue's woodworking.
